Cherry Lodge

Air-conditioned building with large in-building meeting space and back deck overlooking a ravine.

Max Capacity: 40

Cherry Lodge was fully renovated in 2014. In addition to gutting the interior of the building, we built an addition to house accessible bathrooms as well as create extra sleeping space.

More About Cherry...

The large front room serves as meeting space for groups using Cherry, and the two separate bunk rooms sleep 26 and 14 respectively.

Cherry also includes a kitchenette with sink, coffee pot, and fridge.  While groups cannot cook in Cherry, the kitchenette is helpful for groups that want to provide snacks for attendees, and to make sure you get your morning caffeine!

The deck provides extra meeting space and a way to get even closer to nature.  This is also the only fully air-conditioned building at camp, providing extra comfort during the summer months.

Outdoor Space

One of Cherry’s most popular features is the large deck overlooking one of the camp’s three ravines.

The deck can be set up to seat 100 people for events, or with intimate patio seating for small groups.  The beautiful view is enjoyable year-round due to the large glass sliding doors.

Fully Accessible

Cherry Lodge is the only sleeping space at camp that is fully accessible.  From the paved walkway around the building, to the accessible parking, to the accessible bathrooms, guests with limited mobility are completely taken care of in Cherry.

While other buildings at camp have accessible bathrooms or parking, much of camp is covered in terrain difficult to navigate with limited mobility.

Fireplace

The large fireplace in Cherry can heat the whole front room, and also serves as an excellent spot for indoor cookouts!

We’ve roasted many a hotdog in Cherry on rainy evenings, and gathered around it for evening vespers, campfires, and Sunday morning worship.
