Our Summer Theme for 2025 is Another Way! Jesus often confronted the world around him with another way of living and by his example, we are reminded that God always invites us to reimagine who we are and how we do things. In the peace of this space, we will explore what would change if we lived by Jesus example.
We are already seeking summer staff for 2025. Kitchen, Program, Lifeguards, Counselors, CIT's.
Whether you are looking for space for a retreat, business meeting, conference, reunion, wedding venue, pastoral retreat, outdoor education location, or any other getaway, we have an option for you!
We’re trusted by more than 3500 yearly visitors.
The summer camp program at Inspiration Hills is intentionally designed to provide campers with life-changing experiences that lead to the formation of personal faith within a safe Christian community. Our leaders are trained to focus on physical and emotional safety, skill development, and age appropriate programming that is exciting, educational and enriching. In addition to training, our leaders have a heart for ministry and kids, and a love of summer fun that they share with the campers.
Inspiration Hills Camp is a 200 acre Christian Camp and Retreat Center located in Northern Ohio. It is one of the many ministries of the Northern Ohio District Church of the Brethren where kids and adults of all ages can come to know Christ and follow him. Our ministry reaches well beyond the doors of our local churches and congregations with year round programs for youth and adults that include Outdoor Education, leadership training, scrapbooking and quilting retreats, camping for scouts, weddings, family reunions and weekend retreats for churches of all denominations.
The mission of Inspiration Hills is to provide a set-apart place in nature where people of all ages can grow in awareness of God and deepen their commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, so that in all aspects of Christian life we might continue the work of Jesus Christ, peacefully, simply, together.
As one of 30 Church of the Brethren camps across the country, Inspiration Hills was founded in 1966 to meet the needs of the Northern Ohio congregations with spiritual retreats, leadership training, summer camps, AND to provide a unique location for our local schools to do Outdoor Education. The camp continues to be a place of leadership development within our district and across many denominations as we host leadership seminars, Outdoor Education, pastoral retreats, youth retreats, and summer camps for kids of all ages and abilities.
The staff members at Inspiration Hills are required to maintain current Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification, and have completed training in health and safety procedures of Inspiration Hills and the state of Ohio prior to the summer camp season.
Our ministry reaches beyond the doors of our churches to include people and organizations seeking a place of solace to reconnect, recharge, and discover something new. We are open year-round and provide accomodations for Outdoor Education, leadership retreats, school retreats, scrap-booking retreats, quilting retreats, corporate trainings, sports camps, special needs camps, camping for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, weddings, birthday parties, youth events, and church retreats for many denominations.
